Imre’s fascination with gender as a social construct and urban youth cultures sparked her research into women and the role of femininity within the skateboard scene. Inspired by the women she met, she created the project Angels of the street. A contribution to diversify a culture that typically remains male-dominated, through tackling stereotypes with visual storytelling.
